She was born in Chelsea April 27, 1930, the daughter of Stanley and Regina Morgan Sherman. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of Gardiner High School.
Dorothy was a homemaker devoted to raising her family.
On Oct. 25, 1969, she married John A. Goodenow Jr.
