Jewel Edens Baker, 94, was the granddaughter of Rev. George Washington Black, who founded First Baptist Church in Graham and several other Baptist Churches in Young County, Texas.

Miss Jewel Edens married David Baker on 21 October 1934 in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death.

She was a longtime resident and a homemaker. Jewel Edens Baker was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survived by two daughters - Harriett McCluer and Gail White; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law - Pauline Edens.
