MARCH 2 – Myrtle Mottley Cason, 86, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Staunton where she resided for many years. Born on June 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Bessie Toler Mottley. She was formerly from Farmville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Cason.
Mrs. Cason is survived by her sister-in-law, Mable Cason of Farmville; also, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Monday at Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, where services were conducted, followed by interment in Westview Cemetery.
Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
