Miss Emily Poole Darby, daughter of Judge and Mrs. Remus R. Darby, of Buck Lodge, and Mr. William Clifton Brown, of Barnesville, were married in the Baptist Church, at Barnesville, at 3:30 o'clock last Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. Frank Bourne Cowell. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attended by Misses Laura White and Anna Darby, of Barnesville, as bridesmaids. The best man was the bridegroom's brother, Herbert Brown, of Barnesville, and Dr. Leonard Hays, of Baltimore, and Mr. Percy Pyles, of Barnesville, served as ushers. Little Misses Alice Darby and Ruth Darby, sister and cousin, respectively, of the bride, were the flower girls.

Mrs. Emily Darby Brown Clark, 79, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Allnutt, Poolesville. Mrs. Clark was born at Buck Lodge, a daughter of the late Judge Remus Riggs and Antoinette Chiswell Darby.
She was the wife of the late David W. Clark.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Walter Allnutt and Mrs. Roger Williams, Jr., of Poolesville; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Brosius of Lime Kiln and Mrs. William Griffith of Gaithersburg, and four brothers, John Darby, Boyds; Remus R. Darby, Damascus; Roy Darby, Washington Grove; and Lawrence Darby, Gaithersburg.
Mrs. Clark is at the funeral home in Barnesville where friends may call. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral directors.
