Mr. Murle E. Clark, 91, of St. Louis died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at the Wilcox Nursing Home in St. Louis.

Mr. Clark, the son of Smith and Orlie (Wheelock) Clark, was born April 25, 1907, in Gratiot County. He married Margaret Hawk of St. Louis on Feb. 16, 1932, in St. Louis. He had been a resident of this area all of his life and was an interior decorator until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by his brother, Gordon W. Clark, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, on July 20, 1972; and two brothers, Elon and Leonard Clark.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Alward-Carter Fundral Home in St. Louis with Pastor David Miles of the Methodist Church in Breckenridge officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis.

Mr. Murle E. Clark, 91, of St. Louis died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at the Wilcox Nursing Home in St. Louis.

Mr. Clark, the son of Smith and Orlie (Wheelock) Clark, was born April 25, 1907, in Gratiot County. He married Margaret Hawk of St. Louis on Feb. 16, 1932, in St. Louis.
