Evelyn A. Strickland of Richmond, was reunited with her husband, Nick W. Strickland in Heaven on May 31, 2000.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Wilds and Barbara Brashier; two sons-in-law, Linwood (Buddy) and Gerald; four grandchildren, Niki Hamill, Barry Brashier, Mark Wilds and Darlene King of Durham, N.C.; six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Andrews and Milton Andrews; three sisters, Dorothy Wilson, Kathleen Dunsmore and Helen Gray.

The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment Maury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Weatherford Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member.
