Ida Batteiger, wife of Henry Batteiger, formerly of this city, died at Hartford, Conn., December 3 of pneumonia. She was born at Dale, Ind., the daughter of John and Alvena Decker. On June 8, 1908, she was united in marriage to Henry Batteiger, to which union one child was born. The remains were brought to Boonville, arriving here Dec. 7, and interred at Maple Grove cemetery Dec. 9. She leaves her husband and son Bynum, four brothers, John of Texas, Henry of Nebraska, Albert of St. Louis, Frank of Evansville and many friends.
NOTE: The son named as Bynum is an error. His name was actually Byron.
