"Former Local Teacher Dies"
Ernest J. Andrews, former teacher of physics in the Rockford high school, died Tuesday at his home in Lombard.
Mr. Andrews, a graduate of the Rockford high school and the university of Chicago, has been for a number of years, practicing as a patent attorney with his office in Chicago. Lombard is a suburb of Chicago.
Survivors include three sons, Fred B. Andrews of Salem Oregon; Roger W. Andrews, Worchester, Mass.; Glenn Andrews, Edwardsville, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. W.O. Hinkley, who resided with him; a brother, Harry B. Andrews of the law firm of Andrews and Essington, Rockford, and nine grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death approximatley six years ago.
Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
