Fairance Bernice Angle, 87, of Portsmouth, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on June 6, 1922, in Scioto County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Genevieve Allen Hagaman. Fairance was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Angle, her twin brother, Terrance Hagaman, four sisters, Dorothy Hill, Aldean Bell, Gertrude Searcy and Katherine Adkins.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, David and Marilyn Angle of Statesville, N.C.; one brother, Jesse Hagaman Jr. of S. Williamson, Ky.; one sister, Allean Schwinn of Baltimore, Md.; three grandsons, David Allan, Christopher and Tyler Angle; three great-grandchildren, Kierstin Lucas and Hannah and Nathaniel Angle, and three special nieces, Jacqueline Blanton, Joann Ramsey and Bonnie Tackett.

A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Pastor Murray Stafford officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant's in Portsmouth from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
