She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, W.P. Alexander; two daughters, Charlotte Carr & husband Kenneth of Monticello, MS, and Alesia Cashio of Zachary; three grandchildren, Patrick Carr & wife Nicole, Carla McKey & husband Brad, and Erica Cashio; four great grandchildren, Will, Tucker & Jacob Carr, and Alexa McKey; her mother, Cavie Smith Sumrall; three brothers, Gerald Sumrall & wife Peggy, Doyle Sumrall & wife Rena, and Donnie Sumrall; and numerous extended family members and close friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Seth Sumrall; sister, Linda Mahaffey; and a brother, Hilton Sumrall.
Sybil was a charter member of Foster Road Baptist Church where she faithfully served in many ministries. She was a longtime member & officer of Kleinpeter Terrace Homemakers, and enjoyed volunteering at Mary's House of Bread. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, birdwatching, and lovingly serving others.
