Dilworth/Dillworth, John Quincy Adams, b. ca. 1837, Forsyth, NC. Enlisted 4/29/1864, Co. G, 34th North Carolina Infantry, CSA. Captured 5/5/1864 at the Wilderness. Sent to Belle Plains, Va. and then Pt. Lookout, Maryland. Took the oath of allegiance and enlisted (5/17/1864) in Co. H, 1st United States Volunteer Infantry ("Galvanized Yankees"). D. 3/22/1866 (scurvy). Remains removed from Ft. Rice Cemetery and reburied in this cemetery, 3/6/1905.
