Robert F. Myers, 53, who retired last fall as assistant district manager for Prudential Insurance Company at Tacoma, died Thursday at the veterans' hospital, Portland, where he had been for several months.
He was born in Oregon City, May 25, 1896, and became associated with Prudential in Portland following service in World War I. Later he was transferred to Tacoma.
Survivors are the widow, Maude and son, Robert F. Jr., both of Tacoma; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Beymer, Portland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Finley's Morning-light chapel, with burial in the veterans' plot at Lincoln Memorial park.
