Wilbert E. Blair, 67, of Bedford, died Sunday, December 14, 1997, at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on November 18, 1930, a son of the late William Blair and Esther Schmitt Blair. He was retired Vice President of Manufacturing with Rheox Inc., a communicant of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, a former Grand Knight of Council #9309, Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Felder Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Laura Blair of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, John Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Tom Hart, and a daughter, Mary Ebert, all of Sedona, Ariz.; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Phyllis Ann Buchanan and Brian D. Buchanan, M.D., of Bedford; three stepsons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence J. Baudendistel, M.D., Ph.D., and Donna Baudendistel of St. Louis, Mo., Craig Joseph Baudendistel and Lisa Baudendistel of Chardon, Ohio, and Jay Joseph Baudendistel and Laura Baudendistel of Fort Wayne, Ind.; five grandchildren, and 12 stepgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 1997, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Timothy J. Huffman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 1997, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Bedford. Graveside services will be held in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. Memorials may be made to Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Arrangements are being handled by Carder-Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford.
