He was born in Pueblo, Colo. and had been a resident of LaBelle for 17 years. He was a master automobile mechanic.
Services will be at 10 am Friday at the First Assembly of God Church in Nederland with burial in Oak Bluff Memorial Park under the direction of Nederland Memorial Funeral Home of Nederland.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene; a daughter, Janice Meloncon of Fannett; a son, Bill of Winnie; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Alber of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a brother, Richard of Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
