CANCER PROVES FATAL TO J. H. CAMBRON, 69 - JOSEPH HARRY CAMBRON, 69 year old Loretto farmer, died at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Mary Immaculate Hospital after a year's illness of cancer. He had been under hospital treatment three weeks. Mr. Cambron was born and reared in Marion County, a son of the late Joseph and Lucretia Corbett Cambron. His wife, Mrs. Frances Blandford Cambron, died about four months ago. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Izola Newton of Louisville; five sons, Theodore, Leon, William A., and Louis Cambron, Louisville and Blandford Cambron, Loretto. A brother, Charles Cambron, Loretto, a sister, Mrs. Annie Simms, Manton; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body was at Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto, where prayers were said Tuesday night. Funeral services were conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. John Talbott Spalding at St. Francis of Assisi Church, St. Francis.
