Mr. Robbins died Wednesday, Feb. 3, in a Rockdale nursing home.
He was born on June 9, 1927, to Richard Lee and Maggie Elsie Smith Robbins in the Tanglewood Community. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a self-employed dirt contractor, landscaper and concrete contractor. He was a life-long resident of Milam County. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Bartlett Robbins.
Survivors include a daughter, Becky Gifford of Rockdale; two brothers, Clyde Robbins of Rockdale and Danny Robbins of Hutto; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Rockdale Apostolic Faith Church, 400 Davilla, Rockdale, TX 76567.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
