Patricia L. (Kuhn) Bartek, 76, Altoona, formerly of Smoke Run, died Mon. at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Smoke Run, daughter of Earl 'Buster' & Mildred (Pearson) Kuhn. She married Morton Bartek, Sept. 1, 1956, in Smoke Run United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; children: David M. & wife, Norene, Altoona; Timothy A. & wife, Dotty, New Germany and Cheryl A. Lauer & husband, Mark, Glen Allen, Va.; 6 grandchildren: Michael Bartek, Kaitlyn Bartek, Kelsey Bartek, Eric Lauer, Ashley Lauer and Melissa Lauer; and 3 gr. grandchildren. Pat was a 1951 graduate of the former Beccaria Twp. High School. She was a lifetime member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Juniata and a homemaker. She was a soloist for many weddings and was a longtime veteran of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church choir. She also loved her many pets, especially her Siberian husky, Laddy, and her Pomeranian, Tiggy. Kruise Funeral Home, Ramey. Interment, Hegarty's Crossroad Cemetery, Beccaria Township.
