My Aunt Tillie was always known as "Tillie". I remember her as being sweet but somewhat "feisty"! She was still living alone and driving into her 80's. However, once she fell and broke her hip, she moved into a daughter's home.

Aunt Tillie was the eldest who lived to adulthood. There were two children before her who died at 4 months old and 11 years old. Aunt Tillie was the second to last of the 10 children to die. My father, the youngest, was the very last.
