Herman Baginski, born and raised in the Puyallup Valley, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 in Centralia just 22 days before his 100th birthday. He resided in Tacoma where he was employed by Carstens Packing Company until he moved to Chelalis in 1950. He was was preceded in death in 1988 by Valeria (Siemion) Baginski, his wife of almost 50 years. Survivors include two sons, Richard of Onalaska, Jerry of Olympia; three daughters, Dolores Garnett of Los Angles, Kathleen Bainski of Seattle, Frances Baginski of Centralia; one sister, Patricia Bixenmann of Shelton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
