Zimmerly -- Cecelia Zimmerly, age 73, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2000 at the Heart Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She was born January 6, 1927 to Estevan and Adelfina (Torres) Zimmerly in Socorro. She was a homemaker and worked many years for Cecil's Candy Store, where she was well known. Mrs. Zimmerly was preceded in death by two brothers, Max and Steve Zimmerly and a sister, Lupe Estrada. She is survived by a brother, Albert Zimmerly of Socorro; sisters, Pauline Baca of Socorro, Gertrude Archuleta and Ida Manning, both of Albuquerque and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held Sunday, February 6, 7:00 p.m., at Steadman-Hall Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 7, 9:00 a.m., at San Miguel Catholic Church with Father Bill Sanchez as Celebrant. Burial will be in San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bob Russell, Shorty Vaiza, Eddie Bernal, Albert Zimmerly Jr., Ernest Chavez, and Johnny Zimmerly. Arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro.
