There are many terrific Uncle Harry stories in the family. To me, he was effervescent and a presence. After his wife, Thelma died, he often hosted family members and cooked for us. He was most proud of his green bean casserole, the one with crunchy onions on top!
He was a supporter of music and the arts and now and again hosted events at his home in which musicians played. A salon type event.
Uncle Harry traveled, had a keen interest in Donaldson family history, including a visit to Scotland. When he died, his notes seem to have passed with him.
