TIONESTA--Howard A. Zuendel, 76, of Bradford, a native of Forest County and former oil driller in the Bradford fields, died in the General Hospital in Olean, N.Y., at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Mr. Zuendel, was born in Green Township, Forest County, June 26, 1889, a son of George and Kate Blum Zuendel. He was a World War I veteran. Mr. Zuendel is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Zuendel of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Harl Zuendel of Starr.
Friends may call at the Maurice V. Rhodes Funeral Home in Tionesta from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with interment to follow in the Zuendel Cemetery at Starr.
