Gregoria B. Arriola of Karnes City, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 22 days.
She was a housewife and a member of the St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City, where she resided her entire life.
Preceded in death by: parents, Manuel and Alejandra Serenil Bustillos; husband, Francisco H. Arriola, whom she married in Karnes City on April 27, 1946; daughter, Irene Gomez; sister; two brothers.
Survivors include: sons, Juan Arriola (Dana), Lasaro Arriola, Frank Arriola Jr. (Connie), and David Gomez; daughters, Alicia Arriola, Mary Lou Arriola, and Cruz Rivas; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A rosary service was held Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. in the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City.
The funeral Mass will be held Wednesday in the St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City at 11 a.m., with Father Adrian Adamik officiating.
Interment will follow in the Karnes City Latin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Gomez, Joshua Arriola, Emilio Arriola, Mario Arriola, Carlos Arriola, and Juan Arriola.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Arriola and Michael Arriola.
