She was the former Miss Alice Owen. Her husband to whom she was married in Hillsboro, Texas preceded her in death.
The Durham''s moved to the Padgitt community a few miles southwest of Olney in 1905. Mrs. Durham had been a resident of the Padgitt and Olney communities since 1905. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors: four daughters - Mrs. Ora Hubbard of Weinert; Mrs. Dora Waller of Hillsboro; Mrs. Mira Kee of Newcastle; Mrs. Minnie Straughn of Olney; son - Robert Durham of Olney.
Rev. James Ellison, pastor of the Olney First Methodist church officiated.
