Graveside service for Axel Adams was Monday in Elim Cemetery, Brush Prairie. He died Thursday in a Vancouver nursing home at the age 96.
Mr. Adams was born in Finland and had lived in Clark County since 1935. He was a retired physical therapist who had worked in California and Salem, Ore. He was a member of Hockinson Community Church.
Surviving Mr. Adams are his nephews, Harry Adolphson of Amboy; Ralph Adolphson of Chehalis and Norman Adolphson of Sacramento, Calif. Numerous relatives in Finland also survive.
