Sikeston - Maggie Bartholomew, 89, of Sikeston died Nov. 9, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 15, 1910, in New Madrid, daughter of Henry and Berta Smith Hart. She and James Henry Bartholomew Sr. were married Aug. 2, 1941. He died Jan. 3, 1977.
She had been owner operator of Revlon Beauty Shop, and a nurse assistant at Missouri Delta Medical Center. she was a member of the First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, James "Sonny" Bartholomew II; a daughter, Carol Galemore; two sisters, Thelma Robbins and Helen Call; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Funeral will be at Ponder Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
