Shane Eric Wilder, 40, of Harrodsburg, Mercer County, Kentucky, died Monday, January 11, 2010.
He was born March 4, 1969, in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, he was the son of James Harvey and Dorothy Severance Wilder. Shane attended Lincoln County High School, and was a Supervisor for Montaplast in Frankfort. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife Melissa Wilder; a daughter, Samantha Shane Wilder, and a son, Justin Lee Adams, both of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Shawn and Jason Wilder, both of Crab Orchard; a grandson, Gavin Lee Adams; two nieces, Tabitha Wilder and Marayiah Wilder; a nephew, Ajay Adams.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010, at Spurlin Funeral Home, with Pastor James Severance officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials in leiu of flowers may be given to American Heart Association.
