Mrs. Oscar Andersen, 6O, lifelong resident of the Vinton community, died this morning, May 21, 1956, at the
Vinton hospital following a long illness Mrs. Anderson has been in failing health for the last eight
years.
As Hester Louise Stone, she was born July 17, 1895. a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Otis Stone in Vinton.
She married Oscar Anderson at Marshalltown Dec. 18, 1933.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Methodist church and the Order of Eastern Star lodge.
Surviving are her husband, three children, Mrs Lester Hillesheim of Vinton, Marcia and Otis, Vinton high school students, at home, three grandchildren and a brother, Dudley Stone of Sidney, Mont.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
