Judith G. Dover Former employee of Hamrick's
Judith (Judy) Ann Garland Dover, 63, of 508 E. Robinson St., died Thurs-day, Dec. 22, 2005, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
A native of Gaffney, she was the widow of Carl William Dover and daughter of the late Millard Harrison Garland and the late Nettie Wyatt Garland. She was formerly employed by Hamrick's in the original clothing store in Gaffney and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are daughters, Donna Steadman and husband, Randy, of Gaffney, Rhonda Buice of Pacolet and Gina Morgan and husband, Mike, of Spartanburg; son, Charles Robin Buice and wife, Candi, of Cowpens; sisters, Ruth Green and husband, Ted, of Gaffney; grandchildren, Brandi Steadman, Mitchell Steadman and wife, Sabrina, Misty Peeler, Mandy Romero, Jessica Buice, Kelly Martin, Cassey Martin; and great-grandchildren, Booklyn Peeler, Evan Daniels, Kensley Buice, Mason Buice and Karli Martin.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dover was preceded in death by two brothers, Millard Garland and O.B. Garland, and two sisters, Mildred Hawkins and Virginia Huskey.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Tim Osment and Jerry Ruppe. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Campbell, Joey Garland, Mitchell Steadman, Chad Gault, Clay Phillips and Jason Hall.
The family is at the residence, 508 E. Robinson St.
