James E. Beck, 72, Noblesville, a lifetime resident of Hamilton County, died Friday afternoon in St. Vincent Hospital. The son of William and Orrie (Brendel) Beck, he is survived by his widow, Althea (Foland) Beck whom he married in 1922.
He was a member of the Little Eagle Creek Christian Church and had served in the Flying Farmers Civil Air patrol during WWII. He was an employee of E&M Auto Parts.
Other survivors include three sons, Harold and Wayne of Noblesville; Dale, Westfield; six grandsons and two granddaughters.
