OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Mrs. Edith Valentine, 54, wife of Henry Valentine, died Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock in the Wabash County hospital after being ill since Monday. She was admitted Monday evening to the hospital from her home, 96 Manchester avenue.

She was the daughter of Edgar and Ann (Stewarat) Sailors born in LaFontaine on Sept. 2, 1887. Her marriage to Henry Valentine occurred on May 1, 1912, in LaFontaine. Mrs. Valentine who had been a life resident of the county was a member of the LaFontaine Christian Church.

Other survivors besides the husband are two children, Virginia Ann at home and Mrs. Robert Brubaker, and the following brothers and sisters. Seil Sailors and Mrs. Daisy Shenefield of LaFontaine, Harry Sailors, Mrs. Adam Lautnslager of Dayton, O., Mrs. Dorothy Ervin of Anderson, Mrs. Ethel Rinker of Kansas City, Mrs. Louise Cross of Wabash and Mrs. Ray Hamer of Indianapolis.

The body was taken to the Jones Funeral home where it will remain. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Jones Funeral home with H.J. Weber, pastor of the St. Matthew's Evangelical and Reformed church, officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
