Mrs. Sarah Ellen Altstaetter, 93, of West Main Street, Cairo, died at 8:35 a.m. Monday in Winebrenner Haven, Findlay.
Born April 4, 1878, in Bath Township, she was a daughter of Joseph F. and Catherine (Smith) Cotner. She married Frederick Altstaetter June 23,1898, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are sons, Lloyd and Lester T., both of Cairo; Gilbert R., McComb; daughters, Mrs. Edith Miller and Mrs. Ethel Caldwell, both of Cairo; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Altstaetter was a member of the United Church of Christ, Cairo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harris Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul W. Dowty officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Cairo.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
