Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Elizabeth Temme, 95, who died at the Roland Temme home Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Temme was buried in the Kiel cemetery after services conducted by the Rev. E. G. Behm at the Meiselwitz Funeral home.
A resident of Kiel for the past 50 years, she had made her home with her son for the past 12 years. Her death followed a lingering illness. Born June 8, 1863, in Weisbach, Germany a daughter of John and Elizabeth Wagner, she came to America with her parents in 1884, settling in Milwaukee. Following her marriage to Fred Temme of Milwaukee, the couple moved to Kiel in 1908. Her husband preceded her in death in 1942.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Schoener, Waldo; three sons, Roland of Kiel, William of Manitowoc, and Fred of California; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Kate Kaesner of Racine.
