Thomas J. Dunkley Passes at Home
Warrenville, S.C., Feb 24
Thomas Jefferson Dunkley, native of Edgefield county, died today at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Leonard Ford of Warrenville. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Warrenville Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Ussury, assissted by the Rev C.M. Hicks, will officiate. Interment will be in Warrenville Cemetery.
Mr. Dunkley has been residing in The Valley for a number of years and for the past two years resided with his daughter here. He was a member of the Warenville Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ada Whitlock Dunkley; one son, Thomas Dunkley of Concord, N.C.; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Ford; Mrs. Myrtle Corley of Clearwater, S.C.; Mrs. Mamie Swearingen and Mrs. Nannie Rearden of Augusta; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
