Pauline Slimp Noonkester, 91, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Private interment: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Mansfield Police Officers Association, 1301 E. Debbie Lane, Suite 102, Box 127, Mansfield, Texas 76063.
Pauline was born May 13, 1918, in Aurora, daughter of the late Loyd and Pearl B. Payne Slimp. She was a member of Ridglea United Methodist Church and served as the historian for the altar guild. She also volunteered at John Peter Smith Hospital for over 25 years.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clifton W. Noonkester, and her son, Steve Noonkester.
Survivors: Granddaughters, Kelli Powell and her husband, Keith, of Pleasanton, Kerry Rozes and her husband, Peter, of Southlake; great-granddaughters, Isabella Rozes, Emily Powell, Alexa Rozes and Gracie Powell.
