Evelyn "Pat" Mae Blanch, 71, Michigan City, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at 7:38 p.m. in St. Anthony Memorial.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel with Brother Barry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
She was born July 29, 1937, in Detroit, Mich., to the late Ronald Popard and the late Henrietta Solner Orlowski.
In Michigan City, Ind., she married William Leonard Schultz who preceded her in death; then in Michigan City, Ind., she married Clifford Blanch who preceded her in death.
Surviving are four daughters, Lisa Walden of La Porte, Ind., Chrystal (Mark) Koepke of Michigan City, Ind., Laurie (Robert) Trunk of La Porte, Ind., and Christine (Phillip) Smith of Michigan City, Ind.; three sons, James Schultz Niloff of Michigan City, Ind., Blaine (Susan) Schultz of La Porte, Ind., and William (Kimberly) Schultz of Michigan City, Ind.; a sister, Sandra Gushrowski of Mississippi; and 22 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She retired as an inspector at Aero Metals and enjoyed bowling and dancing.
