Richard Roland Daniel Clutter was born 10 February 1921, in Independence, Missouri, to Grace Wood Clutter and Ira Grover Clutter. Richard lived in Independence, attending grade school thru 6th grade, and then moving with his family to Oak Grove, Missouri, on a farm in about 1934. Richard attended High School at Oak Grove, where he met and married Ethelene Alford in 1938. Richard was a sheet metal worker, building B-25 Aircraft in Kansas City, MO before his military service for our country in the US Navy, 1942.

Richard was a KC, MO Public Service Bus Driver for several years. He also worked for the US Postal Service as a Mail Truck Driver, from which he retired in 1975. Richard and Ethelene moved to St Petersburg, Florida during their retirement years.

Richard's hobby of building and flying model airplanes started on the farm at Oak Grove, and continued during his adult life, as he helped their two boys, Charles and Ronald, build models. Richard also played the guitar and organ.

Fond memories are cherished of Richard R Clutter by all his family and friends.
