Born Jan. 26, 1902, in Armagh Township, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Margaret J. (Bay) Pecht. Her husband, Earnest E. Lewis, died in 1955.
Surviving are: a daughter, Doris Rowe, Burnham; a sister, Eleanor Butler, Michigan; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children, Sara Shuman and George M. Lewis; a brother, Wallace Pecht; and three sisters, Willa Davidheiser, Adda Treaster, and Margaret Lyter.
She was a kitchen helper for the Mifflin County School District.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewistown, and a member of the Happy Workers Sunday School Class of the church.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Larry K. Lutz officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
