Catherine M. Irvine, 82, a homemaker, died Sunday, December 13, 1998 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Irvine lived in Hillister, Texas for 18 years and previously lived in Port Arthur, Texas. She is survived by her husband Vernon; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bob Logan of Brownsboro, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Lyndda Irvine of Nacogdoches, Texas; brothers, A.M. Bonnette, Jr. of Lockport, Louisiana and Alfred Bonnette of Port Neches, Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, A.M. Irvine, Sr., her mother, Leonise Riviere. She was born October 26, 1916 in Port Arthur, Texas to A.M. and Leonise (Riviere) Irvine, Sr. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 15, 1998 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Richard Eifert of Woodville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was held in the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons. Services were under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County
