"Death Sunday claimed Charles Franklin Anderson, 74, a retired rancher at Bedrock. In recent years he had resided at Bayard. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie W. Anderson, two sons, C. J. Anderson, Pinos Altos; Fred L. Anderson, Pennsylvania; two step sons, William and Harold Beach of Deming; one daughter, Mrs. Iva Wright, in Bayard; one step daughter1 Miss Betty Beach of Wilcox; Ariz.; three brothers, Jim Anderson of Miami, Ariz.; Bill Anderson in Mexico; Fred Anderson of Red Rock; one sister, Mrs. Emma Olson of Pomerene, Ariz. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 pm. at the Cox Mortuary chapel, conducted by Bishop William Lobstein of the Latter Day Saints church. Interment was in the Silver City cemetery."
