Mrs. Vada E. Downey, 95, of Elkton died Sunday afternoon at Bridgewater Home for the Aging, where she had been a patient for six years.
She was born May 7, 1880 at Elkton and was a daughter of the late William and Amanda Frazier Downs.
Her husband, Arch T. Downey, died in 1950.
Surviving are a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be conducted 11 a. m. Tuesday at Elkton Presbyterian Church by the Rev. James B. Martin. Burial will be in Elk Run Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 - 8 p.m. today at Brill Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the home of her grandson, Dr. Garner H. Downey, of 210 Lee Ave., Elkton.
