Mrs. Fannie E. Beers, of 416 Fifth avenue south, was instantly killed when a Packard car driven by her son, Paul Beers, left the road and turned over near the Milwaukee viaduct six miles west of Great Falls at about 9 Sunday night. The road was muddy, and when the car's lights failed the machine skidded from the highway.
Surviving relatives are her husband, employed in Glacier Park, and four children, Jack Beers, address unknown here; Mrs. Nellie Brandon, residing near Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Bessie Bobautz, Great Falls, and Paul Beers of this city. Mrs. Beers was born in Chicago. She was 54 years old.
The mother and son were returning from Glacier Park. Although both were pinned under the car, the son was able to crawl out, suffering slight injuries to the left leg, side and shoulder.
