Mary was born in Louisiana to Frances Ragusa Morrell and Joseph Morrell. She moved to Port Arthur in 1936 after marrying Charles Charlie Accardo. She also attended St. James Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Carl Accardo and Joe Accardo and his wife Jan; brother, Anthony Tony Morrell; sister, Lena Felicia Morrell; grandchildren, Michele York and her husband Jeff, Amy Daeschner and husband Tim, Julie Peacock and husband Philip, Bridget Reyes and husband Joe, Tory Accardo and Luke Accardo and his wife Brandi; great grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney and Camren York all, Elizabeth, Bailey, Cara and Cody Daeschner, Holden and Connor Peacock, Clara , Joe Ruben and Jillian Reyes, Kennedi Accardo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl and Joe would also like to recognize and thank Diane Drummond and the Late Deacon Vernon Drummond who were very special to their mother in the latter part of her life.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Charlie Accardo who passed away in 1982 and her grandson, Damian Accardo who passed away in 1993.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Father Don Donahugh serving as the Celebrant and Father John Distefano concelebrating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
