OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Ruby M. Aukerman, 97, Miller's Merry Manor West, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2005, at the nursing home.
She was born on May 23, 1908, in old Somerset to Harry J. and Myrtle (Stelts) Keefer. She married Fred Aukerman in Wabash on Oct 12, 1929, and he died June 6, 1952. She was a member of the Wabash Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Fred (Arline) Aukerman Jr., St. Marys, Ohio; two brothers, Gilbert Keefer, Elwood, and Wilfred Keefer, Fairmount; two grandsons, Hugh (Sue) Aukerman, Celina, Ohio, and Roger (Deb) Aukerman, Normal, Ill.; a granddaughter, Betty (Brad) Kennedy, Wooster, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, E.L. Charles Aukerman; a daughter, Annalou Aukerman; two brothers, Ed and Harold Keefer; and two sisters, Pearl Renbarger and Lorene Keefer.
Funeral services will be at Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Guy Provance officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
