CLAY CENTER — Irene A. Affleck, 71, Clay Center, died Sunday, Feb. 12,1989, at her home. Mrs. Affleck was born Irene A. Durling on Oct. 7, 1917, in Omaha, Neb. She had lived in Clay Center since 1940 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clay Center. Survivors include her husband, Harry of the home; a son, Jack of Fresno, Calif.; three daughters, Shirley Bouley of Clifton, Beverly Willcoxon of Denver and Bonnie Elder of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a brother Robert Durling of Fallbrook Calif.; 14 grandchildren; six step- grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and a stepgreat- grandchild. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pastor Dennis Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Parallel Cemetery in Washington County. Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home, Clay Center.
