Mrs. C. W. Barker, of Hoosier township died Wednesday night with pneumonia, following an attack of measles. Deceased was aged about 52 years and she and her family had been residents of this county about five years. At the time of going to press funeral arrangements had not been completed.

MRS. BARKER BURIED

The funeral services of Mrs. C. W. Barker were held last Saturday at the Barker home in Hoosier township. Burial was at the Hoosier Cemetery, Rev. H. A. Pearce of the Christian church officiating.

As was mentioned last week Mrs. Barker died Wednesday evening, Mar. 6. She had been ill with the measles about a week after which pneumonia set in and she died shortly afterwards. Besides her husband she leaves one son and two daughters to mourn her death.

The Barker family moved to Kingman county about five years ago and have been living northwest of Kingman since that time. They lived in Lyon county near Emporia before coming to Kingman county.
