Mr Coon,, age 71, died at Butterworth Hospital at Grand Rapids, Sat. afternoon He was born in Ohio and has lived in the Dalton Township area since 1946.He was employed as a machinist at Teledyne Continental for 25 years, until retirement in 1965. he was married to the former Hazel Rusmussen.
Survivors, wife, Hazel, 7 sons, Robert of Muskegon, Albert of Dalton Township, Duane of Whitehall, Gearld of Muskegon, Walter with the U.S. Army in Germany, Wilton of Holten, and Lynn of Newbern, N. C.2daughters, Mrs Monte ( Madeline) Beegle of Muskegon, 23 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, I brother Floyd of Flint. and 1 sister Mrs. Frank ( Helen) Lownsbery of Muskegon.
Services Wed. afternoon ay 1:30 P.M. from Clock Chapel, Whitehall with Wm. G. Alexander officiating. Interment will be made at Hart Cemetery.
