Bettye Boyd Parr, age 74, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 11, 2009. She was born in Carrollton to the late William A. and Ellie Lucile Muse Boyd. Mrs. Parr was originally from Bremen. She was a graduate of Bremen High School, North Georgia College, and Grady Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology.
Mrs. Parr is survived by her husband, Ivan Walter Parr, III, Stockbridge; children, David Brent Parr, Fort Worth, Texas, Janet Lynne Parr, Nashville, Tennessee, and Craig Albert (Levenia) Parr, McDonough; grandchildren, Nicholas Ivan Parr, Erica Nickole Parr, and Hunter Austen Parr; and sisters, Frances (Donald) Reeves, Bremen, and Sarah (Jimmy) Redmon, Tallapoosa.
Funeral services were held on September 15 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Dudley Rose officiating. Interment at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
