STREATOR — Evelyn D. Cahill, 92, of Streator, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 15, at St. Mary"s Hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in St. Patrick"s Cemetery in Ransom.

Mrs. Cahill was born Dec. 1, 1916, in Streator, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (McElroy) Nagle. She married Philip Cahill on Sept. 28, 1940, at St. Patrick"s Church in Ransom. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Francis Cahill. Philip preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1958.

Evelyn had been employed at Owen-Illinois Glass Company, Spiegel Catalog, Montgomery Ward and Montgomery Ward Catalog, all of Streator. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Eagles Auxiliary and the Golden Emblem Club of Owens-Illinois Glass, all of Streator. She attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator Township High School, class of 1934.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane (Brian) Wickkiser, Streator; one son, Joseph (Barbara) Cahill, Yorktown, Ind.; six grandchildren, Michael (Kerri) Wickkiser, Morris, Kristine (Mike) Foltin, Streator, Philip (Linda) Cahill, Kimberly (Ken) Hubbell, Shane (Laura) Cahill and Kathleen (Adam) Nardi, all of Colorado; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, George Reinmann, Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters, Mayme Gordon, Ann Reinmann and Bernadine Van Buren; and two brothers, Joseph and Edmund Nagle.
