NORFOLK - Betty J. Bauserman, 71, of the 500 block of Glendale Ave., passed away March 6, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Lenoir, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Gussie Clippard. She was an avid bowler.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Bauserman; three daughters, Pamela Bauserman of Naples, Fla., Monica Bauserman of Norfolk and Michelle Russell and husband Michael of Jacksonville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Karissa Russell and Christian Russell, both of Jacksonville, N.C.; a sister, Barbara Beall of White Plains, Md.; and two nephews, Michael Beall of Baltimore and Kevin Beall of Jacksonville, Fla.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
